The Local Bark was designed to give dogs the ultimate playtime experience. Your dog can play with all of their friends in our huge outdoor play space. When the weather does not permit playing outside your dog can enjoy playing in our climate control indoor play area. The Local Bark also has areas exclusively for smaller dogs as well as those who prefer calmer play. Playtime is always supervised by our staff to ensure each and every dog has a happy, safe, and enjoyable experience.

Splash Zone

Does your dog love water? Is he constantly diving into your pool? Wading in the river? Or splashing around in water buckets? In the summer months let your pup cool off from the California heat with a 45 minute Pooch Plunge in our Splash Zone. Your dog and 5-10 other pups will love splashing around in our 3-foot deep, beach-entry, in ground pool. All Pooch Plunge sessions are supervised by a CPR trained staff member for maximum fun and safety. Prefer for your dog to enjoy a relaxing swim session by himself? He or she will love our Skinny Dip option, a 30 minute swim session where your dog will play one-on-one with one of our CPR trained staff members. Dog Daycare Rates

Overnight stays at The Local Bark always include dog daycare, however, many dogs love to visit and enjoy dog daycare just for the day. Dogs in daycare can romp around in our huge outdoor play space, or come in to our climate controlled indoor play areas when weather permits.

Dog Daycare Health Requirements

Bordetella Vaccine

*Intranasal must be given NO closer than 5 days from stay

*Subqutaneous can be administered anytime prior to stay

Distemper/Parvo Vaccine

Rabies Vaccine

*If over 5 months of age

Fecal Flotation including a Giardia snap test

*Results must be negative. Positive results require a retest

Intact Males and Unspayed Females

Intact males or unspayed females over the age of 10 months will not be allowed to socialize in playgroups, as their hormone levels will more likely increase arousal levels between dogs.

You can request a doggy daycare reservation for your dog at The Local Bark by clicking here and setting up your online customer portal. Spaces are limited so please make your daycare reservation at least 24 hours in advance.
